As our Business Development Executive, Tilly works closely with our new clients, understanding their challenges and helping us explore how and where our solutions can help them. On the front line of our business, Tilly has a unique insight into the variety of specific problems each business has that can be solved with automation. In this article, she shares what she’s learning from our new and existing customers and why she thinks we’re at the start of a big change happening in the Intelligent Automation world.
Where were you before NexBotix?
Before joining NexBotix I graduated from Newcastle University with a BA in Business/Managerial Economics I then worked for Camwood, our sister organisation, as a Business Development Executive for 7 months before joining the NexBotix team.
Why did you join the NexBotix team?
I really felt that joining the NexBotix team would be an exciting and new opportunity for me particularly being one of the first employees in a business, so I jumped at the opportunity. I also think there is nothing like NexBotix in the market at the moment, we’ll see some big changes in our industry over the next few years as the need for digital transformation increases. In my transition from Camwood to NexBotix, although my role stayed the same, however, I feel I have more responsibility and love working with a team of such passionate and driven people.

What’s your favourite thing about working at NexBotix?
I love working with our great team of enthusiastic and really passionate people. My role is mainly outbound and customer-facing which I enjoy, as I love speaking with customers and being the first point of contact.
Where do you see the Intelligent Automation market in the next 5 years?
I see the Intelligent Automation market growing exponentially as the need for digital transformation increases. I think we should expect to see Intelligent Automation more widely adopted across industries and verticals. 90% of C suite level executives see their businesses using some sort of RPA in the next year, NexBotix will play a huge role in lowering the barriers to entry into automation for these businesses.
What is the unique skill you bring to the NexBotix team?
I like to think of myself as driven, passionate, and excitable. As my role is outbound, I’m constantly engaging and communicating with customers, so I like to build relationships and rapport with the customers I speak to. I really enjoy onboarding new businesses and managing customers’ accounts, whilst working collaboratively with the whole team.
